SCHOOL IS OUT….YEA!!!! SUMMER IS HERE AND WE HOPE TO SEE ALL THOSE FOLKS WHO TEACH AND WORK IN THE SCHOOLS JOINING US FOR SEWING, QUILT PIECING & KNITTING!! WE HAVE SOME GREAT CLASSES FOR YOU THIS SUMMER. WE HAVE ONE ON ONE CLASSES SO WE CAN WORK WITH YOU ON SCHEDULING A CLASS!!
We offer one day classes for kids age 8 & UP!! Carol Clark will teach the sewing/quilt piecing class and Sue Irvin will teach knitting. There is something to do in the Hill Country almost every weekend…so come visit us for a “Day” trip or a “Weekend” trip thru the Hill Country and to see our beautiful FABRIC & YARN STORE here in Kingsland!
We have the Saturday Fiber Folks (knitting group) coming in on the 1st Saturday of each month…10:00 – 3:00. The Saturday Fiber Folks (knitters) are working on their 1st Saturday schedule of learning events…so just drop in and spend some time with them! This is a FREE time to come together to learn how!
“DEAR JANE” quilting group has started and would welcome new people at any time. They meet on the 3rd Saturday each month 1:00-3:00 PM. If you think you might be interested…come join in on the 3rd Saturday of each month!!! You will work at your own speed on this project. So far this group has nine people in it…so come on and join them!!
The “Milford Summer Retreat” is filling up fast….so if you want to come join us…get your deposit in A.S.A.P.!!! There are now a few spaces left…(see the RETREAT section for info).

Take a look at the classes being offered and take a class…our teachers are very good at teaching!! We now have new FICTION murder mysterys by Chiaverini & Childs in paper back! Check out the quilt shows around Texas…we will be vendoring at a lot of them!! The store is open even when we are gone…so come shop!!! Sit N Sew is continuing on Wednesdays ALL DAY! THIS IS A FREE DAY TO GET YOUR PROJECTS FINISHED!!
