We are nestled in the Hill Country on a Lake LBJ (Lyndon B. Johnson) in a small community known as Kingsland, Texas. We opened up in July 2001 with about 1600 square feet.  It became apparent that we needed more space for a classroom and workroom, so we built on another 1800 square feet, which made the old space available for a large classroom/lecture room and a sale room.  There is a lounge area for chatting and relaxing .  Along with this area we have a dining area for the day classes and the coffee pot is always on.  I was fortunate to get a bigger office too!

We have a large parking area and welcome sewing & quilting bees, and buses!! Our store is well lighted and we have a great selection of quality 100% cotton fabrics from well known manufacturers, along with superb notions, patterns & books.  We feature a wide selection of “blenders” and tend to handle a lot of  bright colors. Special orders are always welcome, as we try to be helpful in locating those hard to find items. There are many long-arm quilters in the area and a few ladies who will do hand quilting for the public. We think we have some of the best teachers and staff around, as they have a great time while teaching their students and helping customers.  Laughter is in abundance in our shop! 

Hopefully, you will make a trip to see us and stay to enjoy the lakes, tourist sites or maybe you will want to bring your RV and stay awhile.  You might decide to retire here as many are doing!
