SHEPHERDS LIGHT…A BIBLICAL QUILT

4th SATURDAY…10:00-12:00…7 MONTHS (jan – july)

TECHNIQUE: PIECING

 

This is a quilt for experienced quilters (8 pointed stars with set-in seams) but not difficult!! There will be a brief Bible discussion as this quilt references the Twenty-third Psalm. Also you will receive a brief history of each block as it was first published and the various names it was given over the years. The quilt is 64 inch square. The kit is available in different color ways so when you sign up you will get to pick one.

A sample has been made up and is hanging in the shop! Come in to sign up and select your kit!!!

WINTER WONDERINGS

TECHNIQUE: REDWORK HAND EMBROIDERY W/BEADING

 

Come join us for the Winter Wonderings Block of Month. This whimsical HAND embroidery new block of the month is filled with “Red Work” motifs that will delight you and add a bit of winter happenings to your home.  The blocks consist of redwork stitches and to add to the beauty of your redwork, we will add beading to make this an outstanding addition to your quilt collection.  In addition to the 12 redwork designs, this quilt will have pieced blocks to complete a 36”x44” wall hanging or table topper. You will use your machine on some Saturdays. We will complete this block of the month in just 8 months just in time to use during the Christmas Holidays or as a wonderful gift for someone special. The sample is in the shop so come and sign up soon before the class fills up! The kit and pattern will be given to you at each class.
